-lightweight fingering yarn--I used "Palette", available from Knitpicks.com, which has 231 yards in a 50 g ball. 1 skein is enough for a sweater and hat, but more should be allowed for a dress and hat combination.
-knitting needles in US sizes 0 & 1 (2 & 2.25 mm)
-4 place markers
-Snaps & matching thread for finishing
