The pattern was very well explained and easy to follow, with good pictures.I found the leather I used to be quite difficult to work with especially for the hand sewn parts. I think leather tools would be useful to make the holes prior to hand sewing. The moccasins were slightly large for the our generation doll, but this could be fixed by printing the pattern at 80% size. All in all a great pattern.
They are the cutest things ever.
The pattern pieces fit together perfectly. I sewed them together by hand, cutting off the seam allowances for the leather. I lined them with a fake fur, sewing the edges to the leather edges, using a short running stitch. I used cross stitches to close the heel and to add the tongue to the body of the shoe. I sewed them exactly like I had done on a pair of moccasins that I wear with my Cherokee Tear dress. An excellent pattern!
I really enjoy it, I give it 5 stars
I have used many of your patterns and I love all of them. My nephews daughters love all the clothes I have made for their dolls. I haven't had time to sew the moccasins yet but I'm looking forward to sewing them. Yhank you for all the great patterns.
