Your 18-inch doll will love these cozy and inviting slippers for Boys and Girls. ‘Comfy Snuggle Snoozies’ from Little Miss Muffett are perfect for any season; based on Chinese baby shoes and made entirely from Cotton, that is, the slippers have fabric uppers which are bias cut for stretch and ease of fit, and Waffle Weave for the soles. The Toe Caps and inner soles are lined. Each slipper has a Center Back tab which helps when pulling them onto the doll’s feet and also adds body to the bias cut uppers. The soles are interfaced to give them a little stability and to prevent fraying. The slippers use mainly fabric scraps, are easy to make and fun to decorate with piping, braid, lace and ribbon bows, etc.

Recommended Fabrics: Quilter’s Cotton was used for the Upper Slipper & Lining and Waffle Weave was used for the Slipper Sole. One of the Test Ladies used a one-sided Terrycloth Knit for her Slipper Soles.

A Universal Sewing Needle – 80/12; a General Purpose Foot, a ¼” Foot, a Piping Foot or Zipper Foot and an Open Toed Foot (Optional), are used during the sewing process.
