Is your doll a Sporty Girl? Does she love her martial arts? This is a wonderful Karate Uniform for her. It is a nice fitting pattern but still fits loose enough for the doll to easily move into her Karate positions in.
The pattern includes the Jacket, Pants, two Belt options and Kick Pad. The belts can be made from fabric or you can use ribbon or strapping to complete a set.
The Kick Pad sits perfectly on her arm and hand. It is easy to do but the last part gets a little tricky which is why it is marked as intermediate.

I loved this pattern. Only took a couple of hours to complete. My Grandson and daughter-in-law competed in the World Championship Taekwondo competition in Birmingham, England in July. So to honor that competition I made the Karate/Taekwondo outfit with this pattern. It turned out great and was very easy to use. I used their regional patch on the back of the uniform and purchased an England pin and put that on the front of the uniform. So sew and have fun with this. Both of my people are black belts in varying degrees and this will bring back lots of memories of the competition in England.
I enjoyed making this outfit. The fit is good and looks great on both my boy & girl AG dolls. I decided to add a lining to the top and to sew some hook & loop tape to the bottom front to hold things in place while adding the belt. The pattern makes up fairly quickly and would be fun to make with a child or grandchild learning to sew.
My first time making anything from Pixie Faire and I haven't sewn in a long time. It came together beautifully and now my daughter and her doll match for Taekwondo.
I really enjoyed using this pattern. The instructions were clear and the pattern pieces fit well together. The doll sized karate uniforms turned out great and are very similar to the gi's that my daughters wear for their karate classes. I would definitely purchase more patterns from Doll Tag Clothing.
Great - really easy-to-use pattern -a quick project -went together well anlooks great!!
