I purchased these to see how they are made SkIcan shrink them for a 14.5" doll. The pattern is excellent
There are quite a few steps involved and if one isn't crafty they may be tricky. Not for first time shoe makers. I doubled the truck height on my second pair bc the first pr of wheels hit the skate bottom and were a very tight fit. I bought the squares and sticks recommended and learned before assembly to put the stick through the holes in the blocks. I used pliers to get them through bc I had already glued and screwed the trucks onto the skate bottom. The skate body itself is AWESOME. The fit is perfect and they look fabu! They are ADORABLE.
I enjoyed this pattern. You definitely need to pay attention to her instructions. They are easy to follow and with her pictures that go along by the side, you can have some cool skates. My daughter just loved how the wheels turn fast, she says. I will be making more pairs of these for summer.
