I made these pants for my My Friend Mandy doll, I resized the pattern down 85% and it worked well. For Mandy you do not need ties on the front panel a hook and eye works fine. Also I used bias tape to finish my edges for a little contrast and it turned out great. The pattern was a little confusing when it says to sew the right sides together at the crotch but the picture does not seem to show that so some basic sewing skills are needed. I too put fringe on the top and it turned out great!
Great pattern! Fun and so cute! I used elastic in the back and made ties a little longer in front for easy tying into a bow. Made a crop top with fringe instead of bikini top. Used very colorful floral cotton print and it looked just like "Flower Power" look of the late 60's! Perfect for AG Julie. Suggestions for how to dress were very helpful. Love it! Plan to make more!
Easy, perfect fit pattern
Great pattern, easy to follow.
