Daisy Flapper Doll 23" Cloth Doll Pattern

2 reviews   |

This pattern, from My Sunshine Dolls, was inspired by one of the main characters, Daisy Buchanan, in the classic book, The Great Gatsby, by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Pattern includes full cover photographs and step-by-step directions to make a 1920's inspired Flapper Doll with two different dress styles: one day dress with cloche hat and one evening dress with feather headband. Dress A has trim in the shape of a V on the bodice front as well as a coordinating waistband and shoulder bow. Dress B has a lace overlay with mesh tulle sash. Both dresses have a drop waist with gathered skirt and hook and loop closure in the back. There are separate hat pattern pieces for the different dolls. Suggested fabrics for Dress A are chiffon, linen or cotton and for Dress B, chiffon, crepe back satin or silk for main dress and lace for the overlay. Cloche hat is made from felt. All clothing will also fit an 18" doll such as American Girl®. There are separate pattern pieces for the cloche hat for the 23" doll and 18" dolls.
