My favourite coat pattern

I love this coat pattern. It is fast and easy to sew. The results are always beautiful. I’ve made three of these coats so far and I plan to make more.

J ai adapté le modèle pour faire un manteau de pluie / tissus imperméable à rayure bleu / j ai mis un zip pour la fermeture et agrandi les côtés - manches un peu longue j ai fait un effet de double rabat . Vraiment très beau

Oxford Coat 18" doll

I loved it. It was so simple to make! It turned out really cute. I made a rain coat out of it. So fun!

very stylish coat

I upcycled a man's shirt, and love the result. The pattern goes together well, though I found the sleeves too long and took nearly a cm off the length of sleeves. The instructions explain how to make a looser fit, but I found it worked fine as it was, I just sewed a narrow seam allowance.

Needs some tweaking

I ended up adjusting this pattern quite a bit: I added about 1" to the circumference otherwise the coat is too tight for layering, added shoulder darts to better contour shoulders which means that I also had to adjust the hood as it modified the circumference around the neck, I also found the sleeves a bit too long. The final coat looked good but I will be going back to my adjusted pattern when remaking.
