Don't fear knits with this easy to sew tank top design featuring binding on both the neck and arms! Learn to do a reverse applique with these easy to follow step by step instructions - the design features a knit and lace underlay for a fun and trendy look! This top can be made from a variety of lightweight knit and woven fabrics. This is a loose fitting top and will fit a variety of dolls such as - American Girl® (and other similar size dolls), Journey Girls, and Karito Kids.
Suggested fabrics include: lightweight knit, such as tissue knit, burnout knit, and a variety of other knits. Lace fabric is used for the underlay.
Supplies Needed:
- 1/4 yard of knit fabric
- 2" piece of hook and loop tape
- Matching or contrasting thread
- 4" square of lace (stretch or non-stretch)
- 4" square Heat N Bond
