I love this pattern. The only problem I had was adding the contrasting sole and the bottom sole after putting on the band around the shoe. Being a meticulous sewer I was not happy with the finished product. I did try a file to smooth it out. So I came up with an option that works for me. I always use a rotary cutter and quilt mat to cut my bands that go around the shoes. After cutting them I used the quilting ruler and a sharpie to draw a contrasting line on the strip. It works great and I have not had any problem with smudging.
The instructions were sooooooooo easy to follow. Very thorough directions and clear pictures. The high tops turned out so cute. I have found that the Miche patterns are, at least for me, the easiest to use. I get great results and so I look for those now when searching for patterns.
Pattern was great. High tops fit and instructions good. I need to learn how to use hot glue gun more efficiently! A bit finicky to sew but very cute! Granddaughter loved them! I used a poly cotton fabric and made another pair out of stretch denim, prefer stretch denim.
I love these and they sell fast. A cute snug fit on my american girl dolls. Very easy pattern.
