I absolutely love this top ... the details in the lace, as well as the bias binding, make it look fancy but not fussy. I do have to say the instructions are confusing. I tend to read through the whole pattern and instructions before I start, but just print the “brief instructions” without photos as a reference when I’m sewing. Those brief instructions were very confusing to follow ... I’ll just say it certainly took a lot of patience and re-reading to get through them! This was my first experience using self binding, and it really worked well - like having that addition to my sewing skills.
Love this pattern! It's so cute! It's easier then it looks!
Love this pattern it was easy to use.
Marilyn's instructions again guide you through a beautiful pattern. I can see this being another pattern used over and over again to create tops and dresses that can be used in summer and again in winter with a little jacket. Once again, a great fit on the American Girl.
