This dress gives the 60's vibe-- "freedom". It is designed for comfort and coolness during the hot muggy days of summer. It is a carefree casual dress that is made from cotton print and includes bias binding trim at the neck, arms, and hem, rather than facings or being lined. It has a "t-back" for extra air movement in and through the dress. It allows for purchased bias tape or for making tape that coordinates with your fabric. The dress can also be finished with a turned up and stitched hem.
This PDF sewing pattern is designed to fit 18" dolls such as American Girl®.
