Senor Pequeno, by Little Miss Muffett – an adorable outfit for boys to celebrate Cinco de Mayo; consisting of Tunic, Pants and Poncho. The tunic is loose-fitting with dropped-shoulders; it has a faced front neck slit, side slits, long or short sleeves and closes with hook and loop tape in back. The Long or Short Pants have an elasticized waist and flat felled seams have been topstitched on the sides to add interest. Both garments are top-stitched and have optional binding trim. The fringed Poncho has two ‘sleeve’ lengths and closes with hook and loop tape in back. The neck has top-stitched detail, is faced and the collar points are tacked down to keep them open. A link for instructions to make a lasso has also been included. This relatively easy and versatile pattern is designed to fit 18” modified soft-bodied dolls such as American Girl®.
Fabric Used: The Long-Sleeved Tunic and Long Pants were made from Lightweight Denim. The Short Sleeved Tunic and Shorts were made from Cotton. Hand Woven Ethnic cloth was used for the wider Poncho and Cotton for the slightly narrower Poncho. Bias Strips were used as trim on the White Tunic and Pants.
