The ‘Lavender Fantasy’ Evening Gown has a Ruched Front Bodice with pretty Mermaid Sleeves, while the beautiful gathered circular skirt has a layered handkerchief stylized overlay, giving the dress an ethereal appearance. A small Rose Bouquet decoration adorns the Dress Waist. The Bodice is fully lined and closes at Center Back with Hook & Loop Tape.
This intermediate PDF sewing pattern, by Little Miss Muffett, is designed to fit 18-inch soft-bodied dolls such as American Girl®.
Suggested Fabrics: Raw Silk or Rayon for the Under Skirt and Bodice Back but any stable fabric with a good drape. Three different toning colors of Soft Net or Soft Tulle for the Skirt Overlays, Ruched Bodice Front and Mermaid Sleeves. Lightweight Cotton or Pongee for the Bodice Lining.
