Little Equestrienne 18" Doll Clothes Pattern

5 reviews   |

Although not historically accurate, your 18-inch doll will look beautiful in this late Regency, early Victorian era Horse Riding Habit which consists of Pantaloons, Skirt, Jacket, Stock, Top Hat and Glovesby Little Miss Muffett. The Jacket features a beautiful pleated Fantail Bustle at the back which is trimmed with a large bow. The back is also Princess cut for a more fitted look; the Fantail, together with the soft folded front collar and cuffs are lined with contrasting fabric. The jacket front, collar and cuffs are trimmed with decorative Braid. The front closes with Hook and Loop Tape and two decorative buttons are stitched in place. The long, full-gathered Skirt has a train at the back, a waistband and closes at the back with a snap. The Stock sits inside the Jacket, closes with a Snap in front and is decorated with a small tie pin or button. The ankle-length Pantaloons have elastic in the waist and are trimmed with lace and ribbon. The fully lined Top Hat has a wired brim for shape (optional), a long net scarf is tied around the base and a large flower or feathers are attached to the hat side and brim for decoration. The Gloves add a finishing touch to the outfit. This relatively easy pattern is designed to fit 18” soft-bodied dolls such as American Girl®.
