Love this pattern. It fits the doll well, looks fantastic and the pattern was so easy to follow. I've made several now as my grandchildren love them too!
Easy to follow instructions and the hat fit. Very happy with it.
Love the pattern, took a bit to figure out the 2 different views but straight forward when you think about it. I have already made 2 - one in velour and one in cotton - very different but pleased with both
This hat is easy and gorgeous once done. I did make it in the purple colors as shown for my daughter's Rebecca. I didn't sew appliques or bling on the hat as we thought that isn't historically accurate. I did make the purple wool roses to put on the brim and those turned out beautifully. I would suggest making the lining of the cloche hat alittle bit bigger, as mine was just abit to small. But overall, it was fast to sew up, we will make a few more in other colors. Perfect hat for Rebecca.
My experience with this patter was very good. I enjoyed working with patter, it was very easy. I was also very pleased that the hat fit the dolls head. It was a serious challenge to try the beautiful beadwork demonstrated on the pattern cover, however, the result was lovely. I would recommend this pattern for anyone interested in making hats. The possibilities are endless.
