Every little baby doll needs a ruffle dress in their wardrobe. The dress has 3 ruffles in the skirt section and closes in the back with 4 buttons. A bow adorns the center front waist. Matching Panties and Headband are included in the pattern.
Description of knitted pieces.
The dress is a very easy pattern using only purl and knit stitches. Knit flat from bottom upwards. Cast on extra stitches to create the sleeves. The dress has 3 ruffles (The hem and other 2 ridge rows where stitches need to be picked up to knit the ruffle). Back closure with 4 buttons.
The panties are Knit flat with side seams.
Bonus: The headband is Knit in garter stitch with instructions given to knit an easy knitted flower.
Stitches used: knit, purl.

Recommended Yarn: Any 4 ply / Fingering that will give you the appropriate gauge. Main pattern example used: Stylecraft ® Special for Baby 4ply about 15 grams = 63.0 meters (68.9 yards). Nako Astra ® Bebe 100 very small amount for the bow and flower.

Supplies Needed:
Yarn - Any 4 ply / Fingering that will give you the appropriate gauge.
Other supplies needed:
• Straight or circular knitting needles sizes US 2 (2.75 mm).
• US 1.5 (2.5 mm) for bow and headband.
• DPNS size US 2 (2.75 mm) x 2 to help with the extra stitches when joining the sleeves.
• Tiny buttons x 4 (for the back closure).
• Row counter or a pencil to tick off the rows as you knit.
• Tapestry + ordinary sewing needle.
• Small scissors.
• Ruler or tape measure.
