The first in Flossie Potter's LADIES' CLUB collection, this simple, yet elegant, sleeveless dress hugs your doll in the bodice and flares from the waist pleats. Fully lined, the dress is a stand-alone piece, but it pairs well with its companion jacket.

Beautiful dress and jacket

Love this little dress and jacket. Very clear directions. I lined the jacket with the dress fabric. It looks quite elegant.

Ladies Club Outfit

I love the look of this sixties era outfit. I would definitely say this an intermediate level pattern but the instructions are clear. The directions for attaching the lining to the jacket were different than I have done before and it turned out great. I thought the hat was complicated but it came out nicely too and it’s the perfect size and scale. I have one issue with the instructions for the hat. The written instructions say the hat band is 1”x 14” but the pattern piece itself says 1” x 13”. I had to do it three times before I figured out why it didn’t fit. I used Peltex instead of foam because that’s what I had and I like the crisp look. Thanks for your creativity and lovely patterns.

Ladies club dress

I love this pattern. I made 3 of them for my grand daughters.

Ladies Club Dress

I purchase the Michaels Modern Girls dolls from Michaels and outfit them with complete wardrobes which are donated to various charities. I scaled this pattern down to 93% and the fit is perfect. I have whipped up five of these today ( I'll get to making the little jackets tomorrow) and I expect I will be making dozens of these. I haven't lined the skirts but they are fine unlined. Surprisingly, with the right fabric these dresses can look very formal. Easy little pattern for beginners who want to try pleats. This will definitely be one of my go-to pattern for dresses. Thank you so much for easy peasy instructions for a delightful little dress.

Perfect period dress

I tested for this pattern and had a lot of fun making it. It was amazing seeing how it all came together into a great period outfit and all inspired by a simple picture! I love the unusual technique she uses to make the gloves more realistic on dolls without split fingers! Definitely get the jacket, but then add the sweet dress and accessories to finish the look!
