This lovely vintage dress pattern was inspired by a pattern for girls made by the Advance Pattern Company in 1956. The Scoop neck bodice with empire silhouette has short puffed sleeves. The princess seamed skirt is fitted at the waistline, flaring to a wide hem with a center back closure. The contrast detachable scalloped collar is optional.

I found the pattern to be fairly easy to sew. I wanted to use the collar, but find it hard lay right. I would like to sew it into the dress and I hope to try that .
The pattern was easy to make and had many varieties. I made 2 for her doll. She loves them and says they fit great.
This is a lovely pattern. I made it in 2 quilt fabrics. It fits my 13inch Maru mini doll very well.
This is an awesome pattern! I love it with or without the collar. Can't decide which way? You don't have to! the collar is separate. So your favorite doll can have it or not!
I was a tester for this pattern. It's a very simple pattern yet the results are amazing! So many possibilities - combinations of fabrics, adding a belt, adding piping or lace. I made this pattern for my H4H doll and it fit beautifully. I love it and will be making this again :D
