1950's dress with alternate bottom.

I used the top of this pattern with a rectangular bottom with a crinolin under it to give it a poufier style.

Great fit.

This dress comes together so fast. Although an intermediate dress, it is deceptively easy especially if you use cotton fabric. It looks great made in cotton and fabulous if you spend the extra time to make it in lace or chiffon. A pattern I know I will be using again and again.

I love this dress pattern

When I saw this pattern I just knew I had to try it. I love the style of this dress. I've already made 4 of them! I chose to use various polyesters, satin, organza, and moleskin, and they all came together like a dream. If you're afraid of zippers, you have to try this pattern. Marilyn's style of putting in a zipper is like using a "zippers for dummies" tutorial.

This dress is adorable!! The instructions are well written and easy to follow. I chose to make the dress from a pretty quilters cotton - next time I'll make a fancy dress :) And best of all, the dress fits perfectly!!! I'll be making this one over and over!!
