I enjoyed using this pattern very much. Both versions of the jacket came out perfectly, and the bonnet was one of the easiest doll patterns I've used. The only problem came with fitting since the bodice of the jacket is quite a bit larger than the dolls I am clothing. I was able to take a couple of fitting darts in the back to make the jackets fit.
I used this pattern when completing a custom order for an antique 18” doll. Both I and the recipient were delighted with the results. The details in this lovely jacket and bonnet are so authentic it’s hard to describe. The actual pattern is very clear and concise, and easily followed. I have numerous patterns by this designer and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend this pattern.
