Loved the pattern but did not like the way the feet went . Made other onside that were easier.
This pattern was great fun to make. I created a cat and a rabbit and added my own facial details to the hood. I had to adapt the size slightly as I was making both items for 15 inch dolls. I did think the fit was a little too snug and also that the front part of the hooded needed to be a little wider. A lovely pattern but quite a challenge!
A wonderful pattern. I had some questions about it and sent an email expecting not to get a response. But in Avery short amount of time I did. Very responsive and helpful. I was amazed.
While I am a beginner at sewing, the directions were more than adequate to walk me through all the bits and pieces of this multi-step and multi-piece design. We made the fox and the panda so far, and both look really cute on American Girl dolls! We couldn't be more pleased with how they turned out. The trickiest part for me was getting the velcro closure to be correct under the chin. I was a bit confused the first time around, but got it figured out the second time. So just pay attention there and think ahead to how things will be hemmed once the hood is added. I shared the finished products on social media and they got so many compliments, I definitely recommend this pattern.
