    Another Great Pattern

This is a lovely coat and hat set. The pattern goes together well, the directions are clear, and the results are worth the effort. I've made this set twice already, and will make it again. Thanks!

    Classy Yoke Coat

When I first saw this pattern, I thought it was a capelet over the coat. I was pleasantly surprised that the yoke is attached -- it looks like a separate capelet, but it doesn't have the fabric bulk which a capelet would have, and the sewing was much faster and easier. Speaking of easier, I used piping instead of just a bias band where the yoke joins the coat body. Piping makes the edge so much easier to sew. And I love the beret. I would buy the pattern just for the beret!
