Motorcycle Jacket 18" Doll Clothes Pattern

The Liberty Jane® Motorcycle Jacket PDF Pattern designed to fit an 18 inch American Girl® Doll is a great addition to your dolls wardrobe! It was featured in the Outback Libby: Roebuck bay outfit and has become a classic Liberty Jane piece... This design will fit both a boy doll and a girl doll!

This pattern may look intimidating, but don't worry, it goes together perfectly! There are a lot of pieces and steps to follow, but the instructions are very clear, with full color images for each step. The zipper is easy to install as well. I've feared zippers in the past, but this goes in smoothly every time!

Wow your friends with your new moto jacket! They will be stunned that you made it :)

neat pattern

I didn't make up the motorcycle jacket, but used it as a basis to adapt to make a jacket from band uniforms for my dolls

A bit fiddly to begin with. When finished looks great. Thank you

Motorcycle jacket

The instructions need a little more refining it said that you work the left pocket at a later time I couldn't find were the right side pocket was there and when you get to the facings and lining it was a bit confusing but I work it out and the finish jacket is not my best work but happy if it Ruth Borger

Motorcycle Jacket

I purchased the Motorcycle Jacket Pixie Pack in brown for using this pattern. Good thing I had a craft scrapbooking tool, Big Bite, to make the eyelets on the belt! Take your time with this 'experienced-only' level pattern. It is a bit of a challenge, especially with the unusual offset front pieces. Read and reread and walk through the sewing steps. It becomes a beautiful jacket, sturdy and easy fit even wirh the lining. Be sure to topstitch neatly and backstitch seams for strength. I'm ready to sew another one!

I've make the jacket twice

I've make the jacket twice now. Lots of ripping out. It is a difficult pattern to follow but lovely when finished.
