Pattern was easy to follow and construction was not complicated. Very pleased with pattern and final product. My great niece is going to love it.
Very cute, and easy to make.
I think it would have been nice if you mentioned that the model you were using had a 10.25 waist in the pattern information. This would have been nice to know prior to me purchasing the pattern. I made the adjustment, but I buy patterns so I don't have to figure it out for myself. For the most part the instructions are clear to follow until you come to the skirt lining, this was not clear at all. Further more, I think the collar should be attached before you sew up your bodice back seams. I will definitely think twice before making another pattern purchase.
The instructions were easy to follow, for an intermediate sewer. Reminder..It's always a good idea to read through the instructions thoroughly, to familiarize yourself with each step, layout, and making notations for yourself. I used the Princess Ballgown Pixie Pack fabrics and it was so much fun! I handstitched string pearls at the outer waistline and on the underskirt hem and used a rolled hem application for the sheer overskirt hem.. Then decided to embellish the skirt using mini roses each hanging on a ribbon (16) and handstitched near the waist gathers between the sheer overskirt and satin underskirt. Finding the perfect stretchy fabric, for the elbow gloves, is next.
This pattern had easy to understand directions, and it went together beautifully! I love how it turned out, and my granddaughter did too! She has already made some jewelry to go with this. I have already begun to make this pattern up again for another beautiful look. It is a versatile dress and relatively easy to make. There are so many options to embellish this. I highly recommend it!
