Gorgeous gown

The instructions were clear and the end result was great. The strapless bodice fits really well and the slim skirt is elegant. I didn't attempt the pintucks as I hand sew my doll clothes and it seemed like too much work. The sheer over skirt is very pretty . I scaled the pattern down to fit my 14 inch doll as well.

This is a very easy to follow pattern with a lot of opportunities for creativity. I have made the pattern twice, and have another one cut out. One was in a satin for a 'party dress-up look' and the other was a knit for a walk on the beach. They both turned out adorable. A beginner sewer could easily sew this pattern up and be proud of the results. As an advanced sewer, I hope to use this pattern and use my imagination to create unique doll dresses with accessories.
