Lovely Tea Dress

This was a fun and fairly easy pattern to make.

Lady Lilly's Tea Dress 18 Dolls

Fantastic Pattern

The first time I attempted to make this pattern, I used a very soft pink silk dupioni, and the dress turned out spectacular. The second time making, while not silk, turned out just as stunning. Great pattern!

Great Dress!

I found this exact fabric at Joann's. I wanted my dress to look like the cover and a similar dress on TV. The instructions were wonderfully easy to follow and allowed you to achieve a perfect result.

Just Like Downton!

This dress is perfect! It looks exactly like the dress Mary wore on Downton Abbey. I adore the Love U Bunches patterns because there's always so much extra detail involved. The dainty gloves, the decorated hat, the pearl necklace -- it's all so perfect. Some of the LUB patterns look intimidating, but they're not. Everything I've made has come out well. I'm looking forward to changing up the fabric next time I make this to make it look not quite so Downton now that I have my Downton dress. I only hope she designs more patterns from this era!
