Love this new top!

I made this cute peasant top with some retro-looking embroidery for my Julie doll using just plain muslin. It's a really cute top, and goes together easily. A quick sew!

Peasant Blouse

The updated version of the Peasant Blouse is easy to use. I've made it with both crinkle cotton (I couldn't find cotton gauze, but this was similar and had some "give" to it) as well as cotton. It sews up very quickly and easily. These shirts can be made with a fat quarter, so they're a great stash-buster. If using a fat quarter, you'll even have a big strip left over that you can use to trim cuffs on matching pants or use for a headband or hair tie. This pattern is lots of fun. I plan on using it again and again!
