Two different cardigans with a matching beanie. The pattern is named "Chordata" as the unique easy crocodile stitch looks like scales.
Knit a cardigan using a continuous pattern stitch or knit one with four rows stockinette stitch in between the pattern rows. There are 2 options for the cardigans one with a short collar and the other with a 2 rows neckband in garter stitch. Both sets are knit flat from the hem upwards with a front buttoned closure. The sleeves knit separately and are joined at the bodice.
Stitches used: knit, purl, YO, skp, kf&b, passyo and knit 2 together.

Although this pattern suggests intermediate - the clear instructions help you to go through with great detail. I was under the weather while testing this sweater and hat, and still managed to complete a pretty set. I think it is worth a try for those who are not quite "intermediate" but want to learn new stitches. Marinda often comes up with new and exciting stitches. *** (Please note that the skirt is not part of the pattern. It is simply a stocking stitch tube with a 1x1 waistband. )
