This was easy to put together and super cute! The instructions were clear and helpful, which made it quick to whip up the dress. It makes a perfect cotton candy princess dress! A few random notes: My attempt turned out a little tight at the waist so that there was no overlap in the back where the velcro belongs, but that may be due to "user error", as I forgot to line the back, and just hemmed the neckline and center back edges instead (I was in a hurry). Also, I used organza instead of tulle--if you do that, make sure to stick to the skirt width suggested in the pattern--more than that won't gather to fit the waist. All in all, a lovely pattern. I look forward to making it again!
Love this pattern. Would be a little hard if you didn't have sewing experience. Pattern very clear and easy to follow. My great granddaughter loves it. Would love to put a picture up but don't know how. Thanks for a great pattern.
I've never worked with tulle before, so I was a bit out of my sewing comfort zone. Pleasantly surprised when it came together without frustration. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. The guide to get the ribbons straight was very helpful. I made two versions. One middle length with the tulle as the top layer, and one short, with the tulle as the under skirt. I will definitely make more of these :)
