This pattern, from My Sunshine Dolls, includes full color photographs and step-by-step directions to make these two adorable 23" cloth elf dolls. Girl doll has a removable romper with a hook and look closure in the back and a crocheted neck collar. She has braided pigtails made from yarn and a bow on her hat. Boy doll has removable shorts and a festive collar. Supplies listed are enough to make one doll, so if making both, you will need to double the supplies. Dolls and clothing can be made from cotton, hair and hat from felt. This pattern is the third in a series of Holiday Dolls celebrating this festive season. These dolls make great holiday gifts and decorations.
The romper also fits 18"dolls such as American Girl®.

I have made dolls before, but I made this is a 24 hour period. The instructions and the pattern were very straight forward. I thought the jumper was OK, but I made another outfit using the top of the pattern and added a skirt. I just felt my little girl elf needed a dress.
