Course Overview:
Sewing With Tiny Hardware - I'm excited to introduce a new course. This one is something I love so much in this world of fashion and miniature. It's Sewing With Tiny Hardware! So these hardware pieces are going to be things like eyelets, grommets, buckles, overall buckles with rivets, attaching rivets to things like jeans and a denim jacket, different types of buckles. belt buckles, all the little teeny tiny metal pieces that really just bring the authentic look to all of these tiny doll clothes pattern projects.
This course will be broken apart into four installments.
- In Part 1 we will take a look at the application methods for installing eyelets.
- In Part 2 I'll demonstrate a few different methods for putting in rivets.
- In Part 3 I'll show you how easy it is to create functional belt buckles
- In Part 4 I'll demonstrate adding flat pronged rivets for a updated look!
With each video tutorial we're going to touch on our tips and techniques for successfully working with tiny hardware and work through the challenges that might come up as we create different things, jackets, shoes, dresses, and historical pieces. There are so many different applications. So I'm really excited to jump into the this course and invite you to join us for this journey
