This pattern, from My Sunshine Dolls, includes full color photographs and step-by-step directions to make this adorable 23" cloth doll with a tulle skirt and removable wings. Doll has freckles, a braided hair crown, a star headband and ballet style shoes. It also includes a variation for fairy wings. Doll body can be made from cotton or silk and skirt can be made from tulle or organza. Wings can be made from sequins, silk, or cotton. The edges of the wings are left raw for a more natural look. Hair and shoes are made from felt. This pattern is the second in a series of Holiday Dolls celebrating this festive season. These dolls make great holiday gifts and decorations.

- 1 fat quarter in skin color for face, arms and legs
- 1 fat quarter for body
- ½ yard 60” wide mesh tulle
- 1 fat quarter for wings
- 1 piece of felt for hair front and back
- 1 piece of felt for shoes
- 1 scrap piece of felt for flower
- 1 scrap piece of felt for mouth
- 1 ½ yds of ⅛ or ⅜” ribbon for shoes
- 1 yard of ⅜” ribbon for wings
- Fold over elastic for headband
- Small piece of glitter felt for star
- Piece of stiff interfacing for wings
- Worsted weight yarn in hair color
- Fabric marker
- Stuffing
- Thread
- Embroidery thread
- 2 - 1” buttons for arms
- Sewing needle
- Doll needle (3 ½” to 4” long)
