Bella's Bow-Tied Booties, by FROG Princess Fashions, were inspired by a pair of crocheted baby booties that caught my eye. When I realized they were somewhat similar to my own high-topped shoe design, Bella's Bow-Tied Booties were underway. I revamped my stitched high-top shoe, adding a few adjustments to the size and shape in order for the tongue to overlap the heel and be assembled last, and adding eyelets along the top for the shoestrings. The result was a cute little boot that is both trendy and easy to construct in the hoop. It is versatile enough to be used with woven fabrics as well as craft vinyl and faux leather. Best of all, it is super-cute, tied with a bow either in the front or the back.
These shoes are designed to fit 18" dolls such as American Girl® and can be stitched with a 5x7 hoop or larger. And, for your convenience, this design works with the Pixie Packs Pre-Cut Shape 1 soles, or you can cut your own soles with the Liberty Jane Shape 1 sole template provided.

5x7 or larger; the smaller design measures 2.86" x 3.69" and the larger design measures 2.43" x 5.50.".
