nice pattern, easy to follow instruction already made two tops.
So far I've only made the blouse, which is a great fit, I added a narrow cuff on the sleeve. Well written and clear instructions.
I made the blouse, which is darling--love the sleeves! However, I didn't like the directions for the neckline, so I made the neckline with facing. It turned out beautifully! I prefer facing, rather than just turning the collar edge under. Liberty Jane patterns are among my favorites!
I just used this pattern to make a beautiful outfit. I found the pattern very easy to work with. I tend to change my patterns, and used the darling strap top attached to long tapered pants out of a red/yellow/white plaid fabric. I made a short-sleeved pale yellow blouse to match, AND add a long skirt that is open in the front, trailing longer in back, of the same pale yellow fabric. Topped it with a wide brimmed plaid hat, decorated with bold yellow roses, dark green leaves. The 18" doll is African-American with long, black hair and brown eyes. What a look! I truly recommend this pattern to everyone. I think even a beginner could make a gorgeous outfit. Thanks Pixie Faire!
