This jolly little capelet, by Genniewren Designs, is bound to become a hot fashion item in your doll’s wardrobe. Made in fall shades it is the perfect accessory as the days turn colder and the leaves start to change color and drop from the trees. In bright colors it’s perfect for winter on top of a sweater or jacket. And in Christmassy colors it’s just perfection for that special holiday time of year.
The capelet is made from fleece fabrics and comes with four styles of hood with a contrast edge to choose from and the option of a contrasting border or purchased trims to finish off the capelet edge.
Full step by step instructions are given in this PDF pattern for each of the techniques used in the construction of the four views shown on the pattern cover and you can mix and match the hoods and edging techniques to create even more style options, or use your imagination to make the perfect capelet for your doll’s winter wardrobe.
Add the capelet to the Little Miss Muffett Frost Faerie outfit to create a one of a kind winter themed outfit!

Very good pattern and instructions. I made this for my granddaughter’s doll for Christmas. I made one change-I lined it. I wanted it to be identical to my granddaughter’s that I made when she was 6 months old and still wears at 3 years old. They wear it together.
I made this cape as part of a Christmas outfit and it made up beautifully will use it again as an everyday cape
This is such a cute little hooded cover-up for winter. I tested it by making view D. I used fleece scrap since it took so little. Thinking it would be a cute Little Red Ridinghood costume for Halloween
I love this pattern. It was very easy to follow and has several variations. My 8 year old daughter also made one. The fit is fantastic and looks great with historical and modern outfits. Our dolls are ready for winter.
I think this is a super cute and easy pattern
