Pack up and head to the woods or host a sleepover in the backyard ... either way you'll be set with the Happy Campers Dome Tent!
With plenty of room for two (and cozy space for three if you're BFFs!), there's no limit to the adventures you can have in this tent. This PDF tent pattern features a zip-up front door and covered screen windows with lots of room for customization ... you choose which walls have windows and doors! Dress it up by mixing and matching colors for the various panels or add Duck Tape for a playful look to your poles. There's even a tutorial included so you can make your own tent sack for easy storage and travel! (Poles will need to be stored separately.)
The tent is designed to be made from one economy 4x6-foot tarp, but the options are endless when you venture into the fabric store. With a finished base size of approximately 20x20 inches, there's plenty of room for sleeping. The tent interior height is approximately 11 inches and with poles, the entire structure is about 15 inches tall.

Love Love Loved it! My son was thrilled that this tent was for his daughters age 6 and 8. It was wonderful to make and the results were amazing! The girls were thrilled and they took it camping the following week end. It looked so professional and I enjoyed the process.
Great pattern. Lots of top stitching but that is what makes it so cute. Easy to follow directions.
I made this tent for my granddaughter. It is very well designed and sews together well. I made one mistake. I sewed the flap for the window to the outside. I was going to take out the stitches and resew it. However, upon careful consideration, I decided to leave my mistake. While it is technically correct to have the window flap inside(if you are a human), it is much better to have the flap on the outside if you are a doll. Your human playmates are the ones that have to open and close the flap. I thought it would be much easier for my granddaughter to open and close the flap from the outside for her doll than trying to get inside and do it with a doll in the way.
