Featured in the Liberty Jane Spring 2014 Euro Libby Outfit: Peleton - The Peleton Muscle Tank is a must-have in every dolls wardrobe. This versatile tank works great as a layering piece over a tank, cami, or bandeau. There are so many great variations to use to create your fashion item. Make it reversible or add your own embellishment to give it that one-of-a-kind designer look!
Don't fear knits! With this pattern, you can achieve a great looking top with little fuss. All the seams are easy to sew, no hemming required! The knit fabric should easily hold it's shape and not stretch out while sewing. The pattern includes two options for armhole finishes, which provide enclosed seams or a raw edge casual look. The back opening is finished with a simple button and loop closure, or a hook & eye.
Wondering how this design differs from the free tank pattern? This top has a low neckline, deep open sides, a wider loose fit, curved hemline, narrower shoulders, and it's sewn with lining so the seams are enclosed.
Bonus: 2 pages of fabric painting tips to help you achieve the cover look!
Suggested fabrics include lightweight knits, slub knits and light, airy sweater knits. If choosing the reversible option, have fun mixing and matching colors and prints!Supplies Needed:

Just finished this little top to go with the Mitered striped Skirt. Detailed pictures and easy-to-follow directions make this easy and fun to make! Found it was very simple to turn using a hemostat (small gripping tweezers). Now on to make a painted one!
This shirt turns out really cute. I like that you can make it reversible too. I will be making a lot of these for the summer. Another great Liberty Jane pattern !
I love all of liberty Jane patterns and this one is no different.
This pattern has quickly become on of my favorites! It's simple and versatile, and it comes out perfectly every time. The possibilities are endless with this one. I've made very casual ones and more dressy ones and love them all.
