Girls and boys alike love the casual comfort of a cute bucket hat! Even big kids can get in the fun with this PDF pattern, which includes two child sizes in addition to the hat for 18-inch dolls. Child size small fits a head circumference up to approximately 20 inches, while the medium size is designed for up to 21 ½ inches.
This hat is fully lined with lots of topstitching detail. Fusible interfacing adds to its structure, and side eyelets give it a bit of character while also allowing for the addition of an optional cord under the chin. Perfect for your next hike, fishing trip or beach volleyball game!

Pattern was easy to follow. The hat came out just the way I wanted it to. Quick and fast to sew.
Overall it was great. Easy to follow and came out just like the picture.
The hat was easy to make, fits well, and looks beautiful. Will definitely make it again in fall colours. I made the Phoebe doll hat, also beautiful, and will be taking the two hats with me across the country to Montreal in July, along with quite a few clothes made from your patterns. I have to make two of everything! Thank you.
Easy pattern to follow with clear directions. When I make this hat again (and I will), I will change the curve of the brim. As is, it came out a bit on the oval side and I would prefer it to be rounded. Also think I will decrease the width of the brim - it hides doll's face a bit too much.
