Loved the slouch hat pattern,

Loved the slouch hat pattern, easy instructions and was able to make a few in a short time. Thanks!

Designer very helpful!

I don't see where I can edit my review, but when I inquired about the discrepancies in this pattern the designer contacted me immediately and corrected the problem! I've increased the stars to 4. The hat was a little stiff and didn't "slouch" very well, but maybe that was because of the yarn I used. Also, a smaller diameter yarn than the pattern called for would probably be a better proportion for a doll.

Pattern Has Errors

I am confused by this pattern. It says to cast on 46 stitches. Fine. Then the directions have you knit 24 rows. Fine. Then when you start casting off the pattern isn't accurate. The pattern has you knitting 6 then knitting 2 together - that's a unit of 8. At the end of the row the pattern says there should be 4 stitches when in fact, there are 6 stitches. The pattern doesn't say what to do with the last 2 stitches. There are discrepancies for the rest of the casting off rows, too. There are a different number of stitches than the directions say there should be. It is frustrating to have directions that aren't accurate! Can anybody help?
