Another commenter mentioned a sew along for beginning preteens to build confidence. That would be amazing. My kids (5, 8, 10) decided to sew stockings for the whole family this year and did a great job. The 8 year old has now asked if he can have sewing days more often and learn more. Having sew alongs would help him and his sisters, and also give them another voice besides me as they learn and work. They love playing with their dolls and all the things I’ve made for them, so this would be a great next step.
