My goal for 2019 is to get much more sewing down than I did last year. In 2018 my partner of over 24 years was in failing health for most of the year and needed me to be a constant caretaker. After he passed away in September I lost my ambition to get much done in the way of crafting. Now that the new year is here, it is time for me to set some goals again to spend much more time at my sewing machine than I did last year. Winning this outfit would be wonderful as my oldest grandson trained to be in the police force and his youngest sister, at age 6, really looks up to her oldest brother.

My goal for 2019 is to finish a quilt for each of our 18 grand children d 5 great grand children. I always thought when we retired there would be time for everything but whenever I think I’m caught up, there is another child on the way or someone is getting married. My sewing machine has become my best friend but I still find time some way to make sure the younger girls get new doll clothes often as well as those kept by grandma for visiting days… such fun.
