I’m so thrilled to see Ellowyne patterns. I have 2 dolls this size! So hard to decide, but I think I could do a great deal with the UK Holiday Outfit.

Omygosh, I don’t have one of these dolls, but they’re beautiful! Looks like I’m going to have to get one now haha. Thanks for including them this week or I might never have realized how cool they are. (I voted the tshirt.)

AWESOME! Such a tough choice, too! All of those are lovely, and each pattern offers a wide possibility for various alterations. I’m torn between Faraway Downs dress and San Remo dress, both are so stylish! A huge THANK YOU for giving us a pattern for a different doll!

Happy Holidays Liberty Jane gang! Thank you so much for the past year’s patterns as they are really appreciated in my house. I’m tickled to see Ellowyne patterns up for vote as I have 2 Ells and her friend Prudence. Have San Remo and it’s great. I think the t-shirt one would be a great one to play with and try different looks with.

Am not sewing anything for this doll or anything close in size so I really don’t care. If they were offered in 18" doll I would vote for the Faraway downs dress. Wouldn’t that be fun on American girl dolls like Samantha???

Like many others, I do not sew for this doll. HOWEVER, I voted for the Faraway Downs dress. This is adorable for the AG dolls, and if I had an Ellowyne doll, this would be my choice! Tough choice though. since the T-Shirt variations are so versatile.

Thanks for ALL of the freebies that you have offered this year.
Let’s share the love amongst all of our dolls!

Since your company distributes patterns for many vendors, I applaud you for choosing one. And although I don’t own or sew for this size doll, I suggest that one week a month/two months be given to the allowance of a freebie for a different size/character. We should not come to expect that every week we would find the 18" American Girl doll showcased.

I don’t have these dolls either – but I voted for the pattern that I would like for the Ellowyne dolls — the UK Holiday pattern. It was quite popular last year for the AG Dolls. Thanks for all the freebies and all the best to you and your staff for 2016.

You can use these pattern for Disney dolls with just a little alternation. depending on pattern and your sewing skills. You can find these dolls at goodwill for 1dollar or less and fix them up to give away.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for choosing Ellowyne for this week’s Freebie Friday!
Now to try to choose which pattern when they are all so wonderful. To get leggings or t shirts? But what about a new dress? I think the San Remo dress looks like it could be the basis for the Faraway Downs dress.
In the end I think I will choose the Faraway Downs dress but any would be fantastic!!

I am saddened by the comments of some of the other sewists! I have purchased several of your patterns and have never been disappointed. Wishing you and your company all the best in 2016!

This was a difficult choice . . . I don’t have that many patterns for this size doll and each one of these patterns lends itself as both a jumping off point for fitting and for variation. I voted for the Faraway Downs dress because it will give the most information for sizing (making a basic sloper) for this size doll. Also, I have this patten in the American Girl Doll size and it is REALLY cute! (Hint: Make in plaid with some metallic threads in the fabric. Glue on some rhinestones . . . FUN!) ;-)
