More About The Mix Up: This week we are excited to present two cute looks that feature the Fashioned By Rebecca Petals "N" Pleats dress. This design is inspired by the 1930s and for one look we've gone with a classic look that represents that genre. For the second look we had a bit of fun styling our little girl to look like she's stepped right off the streets of harajuku Sataion, where the Lolita fashion is all the rage!
The giveaway includes:

Get to know Rebecca (in her own words): Hello, dear Pixie-Fairers! My name is Rebecca Dzierzon, designer of the Fashioned by Rebecca doll patterns. I am very blessed to be a mama to six children ranging in ages (as of March 2019) from 4 months to 10 years. We currently live in Freiberg, Germany (close to the Czech border) where my husband grew up. He is German and obviously, I just couldn’t resist that European charm! I’ve loved American Girl dolls since I was a girl and started sewing for my Felicity shortly after I bought her. Fast forward to my adulthood in 2008 when I decided it would be fun to start sewing for my dolls again. Thanks to many sewing books, videos on YouTube, online sewing classes, and LOTS of practice, I started publishing patterns. It’s been a party ever since!
Inquiring Minds Want To Know:
Q: What's your favorite food?
Rebecca: Potatoes. And bread. And blueberries. I pretty much love food!
Q: Coffee or Tea?
Rebecca: I’m more of a water girl, but I do appreciate a warm cup of fruit tea every now and then.
Q: What inspired your brand name?
Rebecca: “Fashioned” actually has a double meaning for me. 1. To fashion something is to create something 2. I wanted to focus on historical fashions so I took the past-tense of the word fashion. You know, so that it would make you think of past-tense fashions? But um, hmmmm….not sure if it worked. Well, now you get it!
Q: What's your favorite book or tv show?
Rebecca: My all-time favorite movies are Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea (the 1980s version starring Meagan Follows). Sigh. I love those films.
Q: What is your dream vacation?
Rebecca: To go on a cruise with my husband :)
We'd love to hear from you. Leave a comment and tell us - which look is best! And be sure to thank Rebecca and the Pixie Faire team for giving away such cute outfits!
Thanks, everyone!
The Pixie Faire Team
I don’t know why you do this to us. They are BOTH adorable. I closed my eyes and my mouse landed on Mini Maven. Thanks for making this so much fun.
My choice is Mini Maven. I love the classic look of the Mary Janes with the pleated dress. I remember having dresses like this when I was young. Thank you Rebecca, Cinnamon and the Pixie Faire team for the great looks and combos you come up with.
Love this dress! It is perfect for my Kit & Ruthie and it can work for our modern dolls!
Thanks Rebecca and Cinnamon for the sweet give-aways. My choice is Lolita.
I voted for Mini Maven. The outfit makes her look so grown up whereas Lolita wearing the outfit makes it look very old fashion. Thank you Pixie Faire.
Love the Mini Maven outfit! Such a classic dress🙂
I love them both, but I think that Mini Maven is my absolute favorite. Thank you so much to Rebecca and Pixie Faire.
definitely the mini maven, reminds me of my schoold days about 100 years ago (LOL)
LOve love love both of them (thank you so much for the opportunity!) but since I had to choose, Mini Maven is most adorable!
LOVE the darling dress. But I have a Wellie Wisher. Will the pattern be available for the Wellies anytime soon?
Thank you Rebecca and Pixie Faire Team for these lovely outfits. I am partial to Mini Maven.
I just love the Mini Maven look such a cute outfit
This dress is so adorable. I am choosing Mini Maven as it is the perfect Easter look. Although those boots are the bees knees. 🐝
My vote is for Mini Maven. Very cute!
I vote for the cute and classic Mini Maven! Thank you Rebecca & Pixie Faire for this giveaway!
I like Mini Maven, it’s really cute. Thanks so much!
Thanks Rebecca and Cinnamon and the Pixie Faire Team for the cute little outfit….My choice is the Mini Maven look…It has a sweet spring look. The crochet bonnet is sweet but throws a winter look into a spring outfit. Maybe a matching Bonnet with a wide white brim would have been a better choice….the dress is a beautiful fabric choice for spring,,, Thanks again ladies.
They are both so cute, but I like Lolita’s look !!!
The are both nifty, and although I like mini Maven a lot, I vote for Lolita Fashion Girl. The kitty purse is too cute! Thanks for the contest.
At first I thought I would vote for Mini Maven but after looking at them closely I switched to Lolita. Both are adorable.
I love them both but mini marven just wins for me . Thank you to every one who creates all the beautiful patterns for everyone
I like the mini Maven
Thanks Rebecca and Pixie Faire team. My favorite is Mini Maven.
I love both looks, but I favor Mini Maven.. Thank you for all the patterns.
Mini Mavin is a great look.
I love the mini maven. That whole ensemble reminds me of an outfit I had when I was young. I love the print on that dress. Beautiful!
Thanks Rebecca for a great outfit and to the Pixie Faire team for another great giveaway. I chose Mini Mavin! It’s so stylish! I think it would look nice on Kit.
Jenni
Thanks Rebecca for “fashioning” such cute outfits. I like the mini Maven outfit.
Both are adorable!
I like the classic mini maven … the other one looks a bit busy for me … thanks for the choice …
These are both so darling that it is difficult to choose… but tonight I’m in the mood to fancy Lolita, because I love hats and boots. This is a pattern I need to learn. So cute!
Thank you Rebecca and Pixie Faire team for such lovely designs and patterns. I really like the Mini Maven outfit.
I lean toward Lolita, those white boots are meant for walk and any little girl would love placing them on her AGD So that whole outfit is well put to gather. Thank you for the views and patterns.
Love the Lolita outfit and the doll wearing it. Thanks Rebecca and the Pixie Faire team for the chance to win this.
Okay, I adore that Lolita fashion girl outfit and I want one in every color. That is amazing. I also love that little doll modeling it! I wonder if she’s a create your own or one someone customized themselves?
Thank you Rebecca and the pixie faire team. I love the mini maven!!!
I’m not usually a fan of the Lolita look, but in this case, I’ll make an exception!
I especially love the Lolita set!
Liked the MiniMaven.
I prefer the dressed up look of the Loita Girl Fashion outfit! I have always loved the finishing touches look from my childhood days. I love these well put together patterns and the fabric choosen for the give away. Excellent taste
Thank you Rebecca and Pixie faire. Such cute outfits but Lolita gets my vote.
thanks to Rebecca and the Pixie Faire Team. I like Mini Maven best.
Love the dress and the dress shoes. But the kitty purse would catch any little girls eye. I don’t know why the black purse just screams NO at me.
I vote for mini Maven!
Both are really cute, but I vote for the Mini Maven.
Mini Maven looks so darn adorable. The dress seemed design for her it flatters her so much.
Mini Maven is a super cute outfit.
Mini Maven. The bonnet with the other outfit is too baby like for “age” of the doll. Thank you Rebecca for the beautiful dress.
I love the Mini Maven look so much!
Mini-Maven
My vote id for Lolita fashion girl! The boots and the cute purse is the perfect accessories for the dress.. Thank you Rebecca and the Pixie Faire Team.

Thanks for the look at the fun patterns. I voted for Lolita.
Mini Maven for me, please!
I just love “Mini Maven”! It is such a nice outfit between “little girl” & “I’m growing up, but not quite”!
Very cute outfits and patterns. Thank You!
Do like the “Lolita” look best! Thanks
Mini Maven is my choice!!
Thank you Rebecca and Pixie Faire! I like the outfit on Mini Maven best!
My favorite is Mini Maven. Love the Mary Jane shoes! Thank you!
I like the simple accessories with the Mini Haven design. I love the choice of colors. Thanks again for the offer.
I love the Lolita for my grand daughter as she loves hats and boots, too. Many thanks for all your grand ideas! Ta, Deb
Thank you for the contest and for the views of how the dress can be made into an out fit. I chose Lollita because I like the bonnet and the cat face bag.
So hard too choose! The choice of colours compliment each other very well, and I love a little more modern look. I chose Mini Maven. Hmmm…I love the kitty purse tho’ oh! Thank you Rebecca and Pixie Faire.
Since I am a Lolita Girl myself it was a definite vote for Lolita Girl. Beautiful patterns.
I love the Mini Maven outfit as it has a more classic style. I would only use the Lolita version if I was going for a more ‘childish’ look. Either way, the dress is absolutely beautiful but it’s the accessories that change the style!
Lolita for me . Both are nice though 😊
That Lolita kitty purse does it for me!
I voted for Mini Maven because I felt the bonnet kind of took away from the outfit. I do love the boots on Lolita, just not the bonnet. However, the black shoes on Mini Maven brings out the style and color of the dress.
Lolita has my vote.
I voted Lolita. It’s absolutely adorable!!!
I vote for Lolita. Thank you Rebecca.
Maven is my idea of a sweet little girl on her first day of school. Her Mama would have cried big tears as her little one goes bravely on the way down the block!
Wie geht’s, Rebecca? I love your cute dress! The detail on the bodice is awesome. I voted for Lolita, ’cause those boots just knock the whole outfit up a notch. Thanks, thanks, thanks for giving such a nice outfit away—and thanks to the Pixie Faire team that is making it happen!
Thank you Rebecca for the cute outfit,I chose Mini Maven.
Both outfits are really cute but if I have to choose I choose the Mini Maven version!. Rebecca, thanks for sharing your pattern and thank you, Pixie Faire team, for your takes on the outfits.
Love them. Thanks for the giveaway!
This is really hard! Thanks to Pixie Faire and Rebecca. I had to finally pick Lolita because I like the white accents with the dress best!
I voted for Lolita, loved her hair and her boots and purse.
Mini, mini, mini Maven! So adorable!
I like mini Maven the best. I Ike a little more sophisticated look for this outfit. The other is adorable, but I think it makes the AG d look like a baby doll. Thanks Rebecca for your generous donation. And thanks to he Pixie Faire team!
Miss mavens the best.
I like Lolita the best. Just looks better on her shape and all.
I love the Mini Maven. Just looks like a little school girl. really cute!
The dress is adorable, and I love the cat face crochet purse.
Thank you Rebecca and the Pixie Faire Team. I dearly love both outfits, but especially love Lolita.
Thanks Rebecca and the Pixie Faire Team!
My vote went to Mini Maven but both outfits are sweet.
These outfits are soooooo cute!
I liked the Fashion Girl best (but could do without the Lolita tag!). Thanks to Rebecca and the Pixie Faire team!!
Love them both, of course! I voted for Lolita- hard pick though. Thanks again!
