• 1.75 oz (50g) #1 superfine weight yarn (US – fingering yarn, UK/SA/Aus/NZ 4ply yarn) is sufficient for each style of sweater.
• One pair of US Size 2 (metric 2.75 mm) knitting needles, (or a circular needle the same diameter if preferred, plus a spare straight needle of the same size).
• Stitch holder long enough to take up to 20 sts.
• Blunt-ended yarn needle for darning in yarn ends.
• Three 1/4”–3/8” (7–9 mm) buttons for the crop length or four buttons for the waist length sweater.
• Matching sewing thread for the buttons if the holes are too small for the yarn.
