What better top to wear on a sunny day than the Bella Blouse? The clean simple lines are perfect for spring, summer, and fall. The Bella blouse is so versatile, you can wear it with skirts or with leggings, with pants or with shorts, or even under a jumper on cooler days.
The Bella blouse, by Genniewren Designs, features a real collar and front fastening, with a choice of short sleeve styles. The fit of the blouse is adjusted in the back with two optional tucks.
The short straight sleeves make the blouse perfect for school wear or casual wear. The puffed sleeves add a touch of cuteness and make an everyday blouse a little more special. Instructions are included for snaps or hook and loop fastener closures, or you can add real buttons and buttonholes if you prefer.
The bonus pattern is a full two-tier skirt which is perfect to wear with the blouse, or you could wear leggings underneath the skirt for an up-to-the-minute fashion look.
The Bella Blouse will fast become one of your doll’s wardrobe staples.

Made this to go with paddle skirts. Looks great
It was exceptionally easy to download, print and follow directions for this blouse. I purchased it with the intention to use it when I make a USAF dress uniform for my 1964 Giggles doll. I did a test run (to test my skill not the pattern) on a white shirt and was very pleased with the result. Next time I will hem the sleeves before sewing the underarm seam.
I've made five of these cute blouses- two with the puff sleeves- and it is a great basic blouse/shirt. I'm not the greatest sew-er and there was a learning curve for me on the collar and facings. Once it clicked, I was fine. The detailed instructions and color pictures are very helpful! I've also made the bonus skirt three times- really fast, easy and cute! I trimmed the hems with tiny rickrack or lace to add pizazz. I don't have pics of the puff sleeve shirts or the skirts- I've given them all away to my little neighbor girls. :D
Right now I'm in the process of sewing this blouse and have been pleased that the instructions are easy to follow and that the blouse is turning out so cute!
