Sneaker Pattern

I had fun making these sneakers. They turned out so well that I immediately made another pair. This pattern is a bit difficult and not for a beginner in my opinion, but it is fabulous and I love it. I enjoyed making these so much and already have ideas for more of them.

Cute I mean real cute

But when you make your patterns do you use a ruler to make the lines, do you fold the pattern pieces in half to get them even (mirrored)? Do that on your future patterns and you will get 5 stars from me. I worked in a pattern room for very big manufacturing company and learned how they make patterns sew. Otherwise great designs. I just should not have to be fixing ones I purchase that look amateurish. Your ideas are very professional.

Made Really cute shoes

I recently statrted making doll clothes for my granddaughters AG doll, but never thought I could be a cobbler until now :-) The sneaker pattern was very easy to follow. The second sneaker came out a little better than the first but they both were great and fit the doll fine. I went on a bit of a scavenger hunt at our discount store and found that a foam drink cozy cut open made terrific shoe soles and a discount fabric tote bag made the perfect exterior fabric for the shoe. Using the basics of this pattern I was also able be make very fashionable doll sandles. If I could figure out how I could attach photos to this form I would show you my proudly hand made finished product.
