‘Sweet Caroline’ from Little Miss Muffett comprises a Dress with a Camisole-style, fully lined Bodice with narrow shoulder straps. The Bodice front has hand embroidery along the Neckline and down the Center Front.
The gathered Dress Skirt consists of three fabric layers with the Upper layer being decorated with hand embroidery; while the third skirt layer is edged with contrast fabric and a ruffled net insert. The dress closes at Center Back with Hook & Loop Tape.
The long sleeved, waist-length Kimono-style Jacket is fully lined and heavily embroidered.
The Jacket features a lace edged Applique finished with a dangly bow at Center Back, together with a gathered net Ruffle. The Jacket closes at Center Front with a single snap and embellished with a small ribbon bow.
‘Sweet Caroline’ includes embroidery diagrams for the Dress Bodice, the Skirt and the Jacket Fronts, Back and Sleeves. Stitches, using stranded embroidery thread include French Knots, Chain Stitch, Spider Roses (or Woven Wheel) and Stem Stitch.
