18th & 19th Century Homespun Handicrafts 18" Doll Accessory Pattern

The Flossie Potter "18th & 19th Century Homespun Handicrafts" pattern shows you how to make a drop spindle, knitting needles, and embroidery for 18" dolls' displays. Conventional tools can be used, but some unconventional "tool" options using everyday household items are given, as well.

Long ago, these crafts were part of a young girl's "education." While at first the crafts were used to make necessities, they later were used as luxuries, and are still popular today!

(Pair this pattern with Flossie Potter's "Sisters" dress pattern pictured in some of the photos, when it becomes available in June, 2017.)
