In the late 17th and early 18th centuries a coat was a relatively straight loose...
These look adorable but I have been struggling with the directions. The pictures on page 8 and 9 do not help much. I am an experienced sewer and have made many of the other patterns offered through pixiefaire without difficulty, but I am frustrated with this pattern. I will keep trying.
These were a ball to make and are so-o-o-o adorable! Planning on making more!
This is the 3rd boot pattern I have used. They are easier to sew together, just wish there was a different way to do the back seam.
Very cute, however, I found it difficult to understand the instructions when comparing to the pictures. I think it's because the botas in the picture are black making it difficult to see. I had some trouble with the back seam. So I'm recutting the pattern with a bigger seam in the back then will trim the seam after. Attaching the soles is challenging because of the layers. I'm also going to experiment with another method to see if it works easier for me. They are really adorable though.
They are really cute and I plan on using this many more times.
